VEGAN BEAUTY GIFT GUIDE
vegan beauty gift ideas
I can’t believe Christmas is around the corner! I still remember last Christmas like it was yesterday. Can you believe it?
So many good things have happened this year. I got to travel a few times, I’ve worked with amazing brands, and I have committed to being more active.
The two things that are making me feel good at such a harsh time are working out, and gathering new business ideas. When I come home from the gym I feel proud that I pushed myself to go.
So as you can tell from the title of this post it’s to help you find vegan gift ideas for Christmas, for a birthday, or any time of the year. A lot of the items that I share here I’m still using, and some I have bought in the past that I recommend.
Some of the other items I’m planning to get for myself or to buy as presents…
Why buy vegan beauty products?
When you buy vegan beauty products you know you are not contributing to animal suffering. The products have not been tested on bunnies, cats, monkeys, dogs, etc., or any other type of animal they use for testing the ingredients. These animals end up being hurt really badly and they die. You also know the product itself doesn’t contain any ingredient derived from animals like lanolin, milk, carmine, beeswax, etc. When you buy cruelty-free and vegan we all win. The products tend to be more natural which is better for your skin and no animal had to suffer in the process.
Makeup
I like to use powder to color my eyebrows and I’m about to run out of my current set. I’m thinking the next one I want to buy is the Luscious Cosmetics brow tool kit which seems like a good option. And for those days I don’t want to wear foundation I just put on my face Virginic mineral face powder which has such simple and natural ingredients.
Lip Products
My small lipstick collection includes a variety of brands. Some of them are Civilized Cosmetics matte liquid lipsticks.
Hair
At the moment I currently have the Wow Shampoo & Conditioner in my bathroom. I also use Not Your Mother’s Hair products for styling. What are some of your favorite brands?
Nails
I like trying out any vegan nail polish brand. I recently got to work with Hype plant-based nail polish and they made me feel like a queen for a couple of hours. They gave me a free manicure, I got my makeup retouched by a professional, they did my photo shoot, and fed me delicious vegan food. This is how one of the photos turned out.
Skincare
I have used Osea skincare products in the past and I love this brand, all their ingredients are so natural. I also like Virginic skincare because their bottles are made with bamboo, how eco-friendly!
Natural Perfumes
It’s been years since I stopped using conventional perfumes and I always go for natural perfumes instead. Auric Blends perfumes and Kuumba Made perfumes are the two brands that I always use. I have small bottles in my bathroom and I always carry one in my purse. Great size for traveling too!
Luxury Beauty
I have used the Tria home laser hair removal, and the Emjoi epilators. You can check out my Emjoi epilator review. As for my face I either want to get the Foreo Luna 2 or the new Clarisonic cleanser but I’m not sure which one to get. What do you guys recommend?
I hope this vegan beauty gift guide has been helpful! What are you guys going to be buying? Or are you done with your Christmas shopping?
I have added it to my planner to complete my Christmas shopping this weekend. Can’t wait!

Thanks for all the great Vegan recommendations! My two youngest both only shop animal cruelty free products and most of those are found in Vegan products. This will make my gift shopping easier!
You really wouldn't have thought that most skin care products aren't vegan. I love Not You Mother's hair products, the dry shampoo is the best.
I love reading gift guides, and this is a different one! Buying vegan beauty is so important. I would love to smell the perfumes 🙂 x
So many great products! I'm not done with my Christmas shopping yet, but I'm getting close. 🙂 – Julie @trekkn.co
oh my gosh I am loving this list. i've been looking for vegan products every since I started breaking out to ones containing dairy (why is dairy in my face products? idk) wish listing a few of these items for later..and sending a link or two to my husband and a wink wink face lol
These are such awesome ideas! I've been loving clean beauty lately- it's changed my skin!
Awesome! I'm glad it will help :))
Yep, and the good thing is that more brands are making it easier to shop vegan.
I'm glad it was helpful. Hopefully in the near future we are able to smell scents via our computers/laptops lol
That's awesome! I just need a few items to finish. Happy holidays!
Yayy, I'm glad it's helpful. Unfortunately some brands add dairy to their products that can cause acne. Most of these options are natural with beneficial ingredients.
It does make a difference and our skin loves this!
