Gardein Lightly Breaded Plant-Based Turk’y Cutlets
“Gardein Lightly Breaded Turk’y Cutlets are crispy, tender vegan cutlets that make for a homestyle classic. Served with a generous portion of delicious gravy, this meatless turk’y option is ready in just 8 minutes”
I had to order vegetarian “meat” because all these pandemic panic buyers bought all the meat. These are actually really good! They remind me of chicken nuggets I ate as a kid. My husband said if he didn’t know they were vegetarian he couldn’t tell the difference. Had them with sweet potatoes, good combo. Just wish these companies would use non soy protein because I’m sensitive to eating too much soy regularly. – Amazon Review
Gardein Savory Stuffed Plant-Based Turk’y
“Gardein Savory Stuffed Turk’y is a perfect meatless alternative for the holidays or a unique main course for every day. This vegan turk’y is breaded and stuffed with breadcrumbs, cranberries, celery, and onions”
I developed allergies to certain meats in my 30s. It can be difficult because I know what meat is supposed to taste like and substitutes don’t really get it quite right. The in-laws try but aren’t quite good at making foods that I can eat. They make “vegetarian” stuffing by leaving it out of the turkey but then adding chicken broth. Their “vegetarian” soup only has a little bit of bacon. It’s gotten to the point where I need to just bring my own food to holiday dinners if I don’t want to be sick later. So I bought this to take as my portion to Thanksgiving dinner not knowing what to expect. This stuff is delicious. I could eat it for every meal and not get sick of it. It both tastes like turkey and has a turkey texture. 10/10 will buy it for more than just holiday meals. – Amazon Review
