Amazon Fashion – Pearls Top Puff Sleeve & White Leggings

I had previously shared this look on my Instagram but I felt it needed a blog post of its own for how pretty, and comfy this outfit is. A lot of my closet pieces are neutral colors. I tend to go a lot with whites, blacks, grays, beiges, and so on. To me, it’s much easier to get dressed using these shades and put an outfit together. Last year I started incorporating more colors, and patterns into my wardrobe. Some with floral prints, something I would have never worn before. Animal prints still continue to be off-limits for me.

A few years ago I remember having a basic yellow top, and my mom would always compliment me that yellow made my complexion brighter, and to wear yellow tops more often. Eventually, that top got too old, and I don’t remember what happened to it.

I don’t think I have worn yellow for years, but I found a pretty yellow pearl top with puff sleeves. When I saw it I thought how different, and cute. I almost got this pearl top in soft pink but decided on yellow because I remembered what my mom had told me. I thought the white pearls from the top would match perfectly with white pants, and I found the perfect comfy white leggings! I paired this yellow and white outfit with beige Unisa sandals. I also thought combining the pearl top would look great with white pearl earrings (similar) to match the top, my go-to Michael Kors rose gold watch which I always wear when I go out and pretty beige heels. Using yellow and white makes me feel part of nature like a flower, haha, I think that’s a bad comparison, but honestly, I think using these two colors combines really well.

I love how simple this look is, but I think it makes a comfy and put-together outfit for spring or summer.

HOW IS THE FIT?

Yellow Pearl Top

This yellow pearl top fits me really well. For my body type (I’m petite 5’2, 103 pounds) I got a size small. You might want to consider also wearing a shapewear underneath. This is a top with a snug fitting so it will show any lines around your waist. This is how it fits me, but I read from other reviewers it was a bit lose on them. I think it depends on what size you get. The material feels good quality. It’s thick, and the pearls are well-sewn.

White Leggings

These are the first white leggings I own. In the past, I’ve only had white regular pants. These white leggings have a good fit. The material is thick, and they feel comfortable. I did fold a couple of inches on the bottom. They will fit well whether you gain or lose a couple of pounds so that’s always a plus. It’s somewhat see-through so I did have beige color panties. You can also wear it with long loose tops for a comfy outfit.

Unisa Beige Sandals

My Unisa open-toe beige sandals (similar/similar) is a recent purchase I made at Marshall’s. I randomly was going through the shoe department, and this pair caught my eye. From the moment I tried them on I knew I was taking them home. It gives me a little bit more height, and they go great with spring and summer outfits. They feel comfortable, and the color is neutral which goes great with any color combination. Unisa offers a lot of vegan-friendly heel options like faux leather or faux suede.

Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch

This is a statement watch I often like to wear. I like to use my Michael Kors rose gold watch mostly on weekends when I go out. I love the rose gold tone, and I like the big size. On my small wrist, it looks and feels a bit heavy but I like it. This same watch is also available in Gold tone. I also like the fact Michael Kors recently announced their whole line is going fur-free which is amazing news for the ethical treatment of animals.

I applied the darker color from the contour palette to apply to my crease. With the same blush color, I applied on the crease/brow bone. This is to keep my makeup minimal, and simple. This way I could combine my facial makeup with my eye makeup.

In the meantime, I just wanted to share this nice combination of colors to wear for a spring or summer outfit. Yellow with white goes really well.

I can see myself wearing these white comfy leggings over, and over again. This will definitely be my favorite piece for this spring, and summer. It just goes great with so many outfits either with sneakers, flats, or heels. You can dress it up or down.
