Just recently I uploaded a last-minute Halloween nail art tutorial video to my YouTube channel! These are so simple to make because all you will need is black and white nail polish!! And the designs are so simple and easy to create! You can either make different designs on each nail or pick your favorite design to recreate on all of your nails!! My personal favorite was the skull!! In this tutorial, I show you how to make a ghost, skull, spider web, peeking eyes, and striped lines!

5 Halloween Nail Art Designs That Are Spooky

5 Halloween Nail Art Ideas That You Will Be Able to Create

With this blog post and video, you will be able to achieve the following Halloween nail art designs:

Classic striped lines
Eyes peeking into the dark
Spider web
Creepy skull
Scary ghost

NAIL PRODUCTS YOU WILL NEED

I recommend these nail polish products because they are cruelty-free brands. For these designs, I only used Black and White nail polish colors to keep it simple but feel free to get creative and use any other colors. Here I am linking similar products…

NAIL POLISH PRODUCTS

Base Coat

For any of the Halloween nail art ideas, you will need a base coat to start. This helps to strengthen your nails and to help the color polish stay on longer. ella+mila Nail Strengthener

Black Nail Polish

You will need some black color nail polish. For these designs, we are using Black and White tones but you can get creative and use any other color you wish to use. ella+mila in Lights Out

White Nail Polish

As mentioned before to keep it easy and simple I only used two tones, which are Black and White but feel comfortable using any color you wish to use. Karma Organic in French White

Top Coat

To seal the design and make it last longer use a top coat. I have been using Seche Vite for years because it works great. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Nail Coat

NAIL ART TOOLS

These are convenient tools to have to create the eyes or mouth for any design. They are useful but not necessary.

Nail Art Dotting Pens

It’s convenient to have one set of nail art dotting pens. The advantage of having dotting pens is that they come in different sizes depending on how big you need the dots to be and you can make endless designs with them. If you don’t have dotting pens handy then you can also use regular hair bobby pins which work great as well. Nail Art Dotting Pens

Nail Art Painting Brushes

You need one set of painting brushes but the following two sets already come with the dotting tools making it convenient to get everything with one purchase. The convenience of having nail paintbrushes is that they come in a variety of sizes depending on the design you will be making. You can use any other small brush you might have at home to create thin lines.
